Casual Delivery Driver Position

Harbourside Services has a new casual position available for an additional delivery driver at our Rockhampton Depot.

The position will suit a dependable, enthusiastic and committed driver seeking 3-4 days work each week. The role is focused on our home delivery business operation; some HR work will also become available for the right candidate.

The successful applicant is a team player. Morning sort and loading requires all team members to work together effectively and efficiently while then being able to work semi-autonomously throughout the day.

This driving role suits a range of people, including those who are semi-retired.

Applicants must:

- have an open (manual) driver's licence with an excellent driving record. An MR or HR licence would be highly regarded.

- be clean, neat and well-presented.

- have excellent communication skills.

- be team focused.

- have a reasonable level of fitness as the job involves some manual work.

- be available for weekday shifts Monday to Friday. Shifts generally commence between 5:00am and 7:00am.

While not essential, previous delivery experience and/or a forklift qualification would be highly regarded.

Paid training is provided.
