Duties and responsibilities:
- The position will include the daily manufacture of bread and natural fermentation sourdough.
- The position will also include working production amounts, mixing of doughs, scaling and molding of dough, oven loading and stripping and temperature and cooking times.
- The position will also call for the daily upkeep of all workspaces and associated equipment and tools.
Tasks Include:
- Checking the cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
- Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread and rolls.
- Operating machines which roll and mould dough.
- Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment.
