Pay: AU$43.00 – AU$46.00 per hour

About the role 

We seek a compassionate and dedicated Experienced Aged Care Worker and Domestic Care to join our team at Pearl Home Care Gippsland,  VIC. As a casual Aged Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our elderly and disabled clients, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, grooming, and meal preparation

• Providing emotional support and companionship to clients

• Documenting client progress and reporting any changes in their condition

• Adhering to all safety and quality standards in the delivery of care

• Collaborating with the care team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients

What we're looking for

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care or Disability Support

• Experience in a similar aged care or disability support role, preferably in a community-based setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients

• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing the highest standard of care
