Role Overview
The OpenText Content Manager (TRM) User Access Automation Consultant will lead the assessment, design, and documentation of a user access automation roadmap for the Territory Records Manager (TRM) platform— enterprise records and information management system. The role is focused on analysis, architecture, solution design, and knowledge transfer, with a strong emphasis on security, identity integration, and automation readiness.
This position requires deep expertise in OpenText Content Manager, security and access controls, automation tooling, and integration with Microsoft identity services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Current-State Assessment
- Analyse and document current TRM user access processes (provisioning, modification, de‑provisioning).
- Identify inefficiencies, risk factors, manual steps, and dataset/domain variations.
- Review alignment with NTG identity, security, and governance frameworks.
2. Automation Opportunities Analysis

Assess opportunities for automation and orchestration using:
- Microsoft Active Directory / LDAP
- OpenText Content Manager SDK / Service API
- OpenText Operations Orchestration (OO)
- Evaluate what can be achieved with existing capabilities versus where new tooling or uplift is required.
3. Options Paper Development
- Produce a documented assessment and options paper suitable for executive, technical, and procurement audiences.
- Provide high‑level options to improve consistency, reduce manual effort, and strengthen security controls.
4. Roadmap & High-Level Solution Design

Develop a prioritised roadmap for TRM access automation, including:
- Phase 1: user access de‑provisioning
- Later phases: provisioning and access modification
- Provide high‑level architecture aligned with our standards.
- Outline implementation considerations, sequencing, and dependencies.
5. Knowledge Transfer
- Deliver structured handover and technical knowledge transfer to personnel

Technical Skills
- Current OpenText Partner accreditation (mandatory).

- OpenText Content Manager security and access controls
- Microsoft Active Directory / LDAP
- OpenText CM SDK and/or Service API
- OpenText Operations Orchestration
- Strong experience working in complex government or enterprise environments.
Consulting Skills
- Proven advisory and solution‑design capability.
- Ability to document detailed analysis and roadmap materials.
- Strong communication skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
