Momentum Property is looking for an organised and reliable Accounts Officer to join our team on a part-time basis.

Working closely with our Head of Accounts, you’ll support the day-to-day financial operations of the business across our multiple entities and offices.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with numbers, has strong attention to detail and takes pride in keeping things organised and accurate.

About the Role

This is a varied role providing support across our finance and accounts functions, including trust accounting, reconciliations, invoicing and general accounts administration.

The position is Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 2:30pm, with flexibility to work additional hours when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing the Accounts inbox and day-to-day accounts enquiries

• Processing invoices, creditors and payments through Xero

• Trust receipting and assisting with trust account reconciliations

• Processing marketing contributions and property-related expenses

• Reviewing settlement information and following up outstanding documentation

• Providing general accounts and finance support to the Head of Accounts

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous accounts, bookkeeping or finance administration experience

• Has strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

• Is organised, reliable and comfortable managing their own workload

• Has good communication skills and is confident following up information when required

Experience with Xero will be highly regarded. Previous real estate or trust accounting experience would be an advantage.
