The role
As the Electrician you will be required complete electrical tasks in a safe manner to assist in the construction of the Northern QLD Project. You will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting electrical works for the project.
What you do:
•Install and inspect electrical systems and components, including wiring, switchgear, motors, lighting, and control panels.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for electrical equipment.
• Working autonomously, being reliable and positively contributing to our maintenance team.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues and faults in a timely manner.
• Conduct overhauls and refurbishments of electrical equipment when necessary.
• Conduct insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and other electrical measurements and participation in project Risk Assessments and Hazops.
This role is an 17-11 day/night roster, (7 nights shift, 3 days break, 7 days shifts, 11 days off) with shared accommodation provided.
Must Haves?
- Certificate III in Electrical Technology (QLD Electrical Licence
Essential) - Proven history of fault finding and repairs on various electrical equipment
- LVR/CPR
- Ability to work onsite
