The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an organised individual to manage water supply and sewer assets, planning and financial modelling, undertake business development, and lead staff to achieve asset management objectives. 

As Assets Coordinator, you will assist with the development and delivery of capital works programs, contracts and other resources as well as provide specialist water/waste-water engineering advice. You will develop and implement Asset Management plans to meet long-term financial plans, Strategic Business Plans and Development Servicing Plans.

About You

We are seeking an individual who holds a University Degree or higher qualification in an engineering discipline applicable to water, sewerage and effluent reuse systems; and has both a current NSW General Construction Induction Card (White Card), and a current NSW Class C Drivers Licence. 

You will have the following skills and experience;

  • Advanced knowledge of Water Supply, Sewerage and Effluent Reuse systems.
  • Advanced asset management skills including life-cycle costing, level of service, asset degradation and long-term asset planning.
  • High-level skills in interpretation of legislation, regulations, specifications, policies and codes relating to Water Supply and Sewerage engineering.
  • Advanced leadership and management skills.

Benefits

This is a permanent full time position working 35 hours per week.

The total remuneration package for this position commences at $125,312.17 gross per annum, comprising of:

  • $2,161.30 per week base salary
  • $248.55 per week superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
