About the role
Be at the forefront of developing and maintaining open space and building strategies that will guide the City's future growth and sustainability.
Collaborate with a dedicated team that values innovative thinking and actively seeks out solutions to plan and deliver great public places for our community and visitors. In this role, you will lead the planning of the City's open spaces and building assets, ensuring efficient renewal, replacement, and upgrade. You will adopt a whole-of-life perspective in asset management, balancing stakeholder objectives while minimising environmental impacts and maximizing safe outcomes throughout the asset lifecycle.

About you?
Do you have the ability and experience to apply universal design principles that inspire excellence in public realm and building planning & asset management?
Be innovative and find solutions for community needs in open spaces and buildings, to pave the way for a vibrant public realm.
Can be proactive and maintain a forward-thinking works program for open spaces assets, encompassing parks, playgrounds and public buildings.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in urban planning, landscape architecture, asset management or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of asset management principles and community engagement processes.
- Demonstrated experience in project planning and delivery within a public sector or similar environment.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
What's on offer?
- Salary starting from $108,497.86 per annum + 11.5% Superannuation
- Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week
