About the role
This is a permanent, full-time role based at the Moruya Administration Office to provide Asset Management planning to the organisation and enable an integrated approach into the development of Council’s Delivery Program and annual Operational Plan.
Your main duties will include:
- Developing Asset Management plans, strategy and policies for all of Council’s asset classes and lead the Asset Information team to provide accurate, timely, up to date and effective Asset Information.
- Developing Asset Management documentation by use of Using Council strategies, Long Term Financial Plans, asset databases and asset condition data.
- Generating work plans with a view to program integration between Directorates and in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Facilitating multi-disciplinary Council and regional groups, networks and partnerships.
- Contributing to grant funding applications.
Salary Information
Total remuneration for the role is in the range of $126,540.79 to $139,007.44 gross per annum comprising:
- $109,651.69 to $120,454.44 base salary
- $3,837.81 to $4,215.91 Civil Liability allowance
- $13,051.29 to $14,337.09 superannuation (calculated at 11.5%)
A fully maintained Council leaseback vehicle (including full private usage) is also available with this position!

About you
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced civil engineering professional who can contribute strong organisational support, communication and excellent time management skills to ensure the efficient operation of asset management within the larger Infrastructure directorate. You will be a high achiever with an ability to lead and must demonstrate the following:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications with extensive industry experience.
- Proven experience in developing Asset Management Plans.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office and specialised Asset Management software.
- A sincere focus and approach towards maintaining quality customer service.
