This is a permanent full-time opportunity, offering a competitive salary ranging from $81,196.44 to $94,363.36 per annum, plus an attractive 11% superannuation contribution.

 

The Opportunity

As an Asset Inspector - Parks and Buildings you will be required to undertake inspections of Council’s parks and buildings assets in relation to condition assessment, asset verification, hazard identification, risk analysis, data collecting, recording and reporting. Provide feedback on asset condition trending and scope projects for inclusion in the capital works program.

Essential Criteria

  1. Qualification in Building, Construction, Asset Management, Engineering and/or thorough experience in a similar or like role.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in construction and maintenance of parks and building assets.
  3. Proven experience in asset management including condition assessments, field inspections, managing and working with databases and spatial datasets.
  4. Extensive experience in capital project scoping, cost estimating and risk assessments relating to parks and buildings assets.
  5. Demonstrated experience in the development of future works programs.
  6. Proven ability in effectively managing and developing a high-performance team.
  7. Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a broad range of people, community groups, Councillors and public authorities.
  8. Hold current C Class drivers licence.
