The Role:

  • provides arboriculture services to the organisation, including assessment of trees, tree removals and pruning
  • requires competent rope and harness climbing and rigging techniques
  • requires technical knowledge and skill to respond to and ensure appropriate materials and specifications are applied Australian Standards
  • undertakes the maintenance of vegetation and trees within the Tweed Shire
  • works within a great team environment.

We are seeking:

  • Hold a minimum certificate level qualifications in Arboriculture or willingness and commitment to complete the qualification within 24 months of commencement with Council
  • Experience in arboriculture techniques
  • Competence in tree climbing and rigging techniques.

Where it's located:

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
