About the role
Make a splash at the hottest centre in town! The Regional Aquatic Centre in Grafton is brand new and due to open in December. The new facility includes an outdoor 50m pool, an accessible zero depth splash pad and an indoor centre with two heated pools, a 25m and combined program and leisure pool.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced aquatic centre manager with demonstrated skills to lead our new aquatic team. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of safety and legislative requirements, experience in developing programs and activities and have a flair for customer experience. We are looking for a dedicated aquatic leader with experience across all facets of pool operations including plant room, business development, lifeguarding, programs and marketing as well as asset management, policy development and operating procedures.
This position is a three year term contact under the Local Government (State) Award. The successful applicant will need to be available to work Monday through to Sunday, some early mornings and some late evenings depending on the needs of the Centre. The Centre Manger will need to be appropriately qualified to fill in as Duty Manager when needed.

This position is located at Council's Aquatic Centre, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to this position.
