About the role

Are you passionate about electrical work and looking to kick-start your career as a qualified Electrician? Great news - we're now accepting applications for candidates interested in completing a four-year Apprenticeship in Certificate III Electrotechnology.

We are searching for enthusiastic individuals who are eager to make a positive impact in their community. If you are passionate about learning and ready to apply your natural talents and skills to real-life situations, we'd love to have you onboard!

The Apprentice Electrician is responsible for assisting with the design, drawing, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical/electronic equipment and associated control devices for water supply and wastewater facilities, fibre optic networks, Wi-Fi & CCTV networks, and Layer 3 TCP/IP network.

 

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll work alongside experienced supervisors and technicians, getting involved in daily worksite activities and safely carrying out maintenance and repairs. It's an exciting opportunity to grow and learn in a supportive environment.

About you?

Are you good with mechanical stuff and have a knack for electrical and electronics? If you're the kind of person who can handle a workload, work well in a team, and is eager to learn, then you're the perfect fit for this awesome opportunity.

 

All you need is a NSW School Certificate (or equivalent) and a Current Drivers Licence (Minimum P1) and you're all set to apply!

If you have extra qualifications like a National Construction Industry Induction (Whitecard), that's even better!

 

Remember that as part of your apprenticeship, you will obtain tickets such as Enter & Work in a Confined Space, Work Safely at Heights and Fibre Optics - Splice & termination, Inspect Clean & handle certification.

What's on offer?

  • $803.30 per week + 11.5 % Superannuation (for candidates 18 years or over)
  • Temporary Four (4) year position - 38 hours per week.
  • Scope for performance-based salary increases in line with the completion of studies.
  • Support throughout your studies and reimbursements for learning materials and textbooks.
  • Ongoing training and development throughout your qualification.
