We are seeking an experienced and professional Administration Support Officer with a passion for customer service.

This role supports the Waste & Fleet team with all things admin also having a strong emphasis on customer service.

Some of your core functions include:

• Creating customer requests in the Shire's record system.
• Ensuring all outstanding requests are addressed within the appropriate timeframes.
• Providing and developing standardised external communication to customers and stakeholders in line with the Shire's guidelines.
• Providing excellent customer service and ensuring that enquiries are answered promptly and dealt with efficiently.
• Providing support as required and assisting with purchasing and resource procurement activities.
• Assisting with goods receipting within the Department.
• Reviewing invoices, recording purchases and allocating as appropriate.

Our preferred candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skillset:

• Highly developed administration and time management skills.
• Efficient keyboard skills and well-developed skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level attention to detail.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• C Class driver's licence.

Previous experience within a local government environment and knowledge of Technology One or Content Manager software would also be advantageous.
