
Administration Officer Contracts

We are seeking an Administration Officer Contracts to join the Engineering Division. This position provides administrative assistance to the Contracts Section and division staff, requiring a good working knowledge of the Council and Engineering Division's operations.
About the role:
- Provide administrative assistance to the Contracts Section and assist in a wide range of clerical and administrative functions to ensure the Division’s operational deadlines are met.
- Responsible for the maintenance of Council’s Contract Register, managing Contract Manager Database functions, and undertaking tendering Internet site maintenance.
- Responsible for checking and verifying Contract Plant & Equipment and Traffic Control claims according to contracted rates, requiring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

We are seeking:
- Certificate III in Business / Administration studies or a relevant discipline.
- Well developed written and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to contribute to the provision of client services across the work of the Unit.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
