The Coordinator is responsible for the management and delegation of tasks to the Liveable Communities Business Support team. This role will guide and support a team of driven administration professionals who undertake the administration tasks of the Liveable Communities directorate and manage the administration workflows whilst also completing higher level administration work to support both the directorate and the Executive Assistant to the Liveable Communities Director. This role is a great opportunity to build and extend both administration and team management skills with opportunities for the position to act in the Executive Assistant role during times of leave.
COULD THIS BE YOU?
If you have spent 4-5 years building your skills in an administration role where you also supervised/mentored a small team, have honed your time management skills and are multi-tasker with high level attention to detail and are ready to take your administration career to the next level then this is the role for you!
The Administration Coordinator - Liveable Communities is responsible for:
- Providing a comprehensive range of high level administrative services to the Liveable Communities Directorate;
- Supervising and mentoring a team of business support staff;
- Acting as the Executive Assistant as required.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- NSW Drivers Licence
- Certificate IV in Business Administration (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Significant demonstrated experience in high level administration roles;
- Highly developed time management skills;
- Experience in the supervision, mentoring and motivation of staff;
- Working With Children’s Check (or willingness to undergo)

Salary range: Grade 11 - $1,310.00 - $1,417.00 per week plus superannuation for a 35 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
