We are currently
seeking a passionate and keen Outside School Hours Care (Fun
Squad) Educator to join our PCYC
Mackay West Fun Squad. If you enjoy having fun, are

Your New
Role

You
will be a valued Educator who provides high quality practices to
ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children.
You will be responsible for interacting with and effectively
supervising the children while working as a team to deliver a
high-quality and seriously fun programs with children. A key focus
of this role is to acknowledge and support the unique strengths,
needs and interests of each child while inspiring a supportive
culture of safety and safeguarding children in line with PCYC
Queensland values. We’re committed to fostering a supportive,

About
You

  • No formal
    Qualifications are prerequisite for this position
  • Qualified
    Educators require a Minimum Certificate III qualification in an
    area relevant to working with children. A range of
    study areas may be recognised including: behavioural science,
    community services, creative arts, education, nursing,
    physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports
    and recreation and human welfare studies. To assess your

  • Experience
    working within the Fun Squad or long day care sector
    (desirable)
  • Ability to
    respond to the needs of children to ensure high quality fun
    meets agreed standards
  • Hold a current
    First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
    (desirable)
