We are looking for experienced, reliable delivery motorbike riders to distribute flyers from Palm Beach on the Gold Coast through to Pottsville/Hastings Point on the Tweed Coast, and surrounding areas in between.

We currently have vacancies available in:

Kingscliff, Casuarina, Banora Point and Murwillumbah

Additional custom delivery rides are also available.

This work can suit people wanting anything from 1–2 days per week through to regular full-time work, depending on your availability, speed, reliability and the work available each week.

This role may suit:

Older people looking for 1–2 days per week
Someone wanting a second job
Someone looking for regular full-time contractor work
Experienced riders who enjoy independent outdoor work

You must:

Have at least 3 years’ motorbike riding experience
Hold a current motorbike licence
Have, or be willing to obtain, an ABN
Be reliable and committed to completing deliveries during the assigned week
Live in South East Queensland or Northern NSW
Be comfortable having delivery work GPS tracked for client reporting

How the work operates

There are two types of distribution rides.

1. Custom Distribution Rides

Custom rides are client-requested deliveries to specific addresses or streets, usually on a specific date.

The rate is:

$42.50 per hour, with a minimum of 4 hours per delivery, plus travel

This part of the business is currently very busy, and there is a strong amount of work available.

2. Standard Bulk Distributions

Standard bulk distributions are regular flyer deliveries to set areas.

These are paid at a set rate per area. The rate depends on the size of the area and will be provided during the application process.

The more often you complete the same area, the faster and more efficient you will usually become.

Bulk distribution areas must be completed by the Friday of the assigned delivery week. You choose your own delivery days and times within that week, provided the work is completed on schedule.

Please note: riders must complete standard bulk distributions to be eligible for custom single rides.

Expected earnings

As a guide:

Part-time riders working around 2–3 days per week may earn approximately $600–$1,000 per week, depending on delivery speed and the rides completed.

Full-time riders working around 35 hours per week may earn approximately $1,200–$1,800 per week, depending on the rides available and completed.

These amounts are before tax, are not guaranteed, and depend on the work available, your speed, your reliability and the rides assigned.

This is contractor work. You will be responsible for your own tax and superannuation.

As an ABN contractor, you may also be able to claim eligible work-related expenses, such as fuel, vehicle use, motorbike use, motorbike maintenance, helmet and riding gear, trailer use, storage and other delivery-related costs. Please seek your own tax advice.

GPS tracking

All delivery rides are GPS tracked.

A supplied GPS tracker will either be fitted to your own motorbike or used on a supplied motorbike. GPS tracking is used for delivery verification and is made available to our clients.

What you need

You will need:

A current motorbike licence
Your own postie motorbike, or the option to hire one of our bikes for $15 per riding day
A way to transport the motorbike and flyers from our pickup shed in Tweed Heads South to the delivery area

To transport the motorbike and flyers, you will need one of the following:

A ute
A vehicle and trailer
A vehicle with a tow bar — we can provide a trailer or bike rack if needed

If you are delivering in Banora Point, you may be able to work directly from the shed.

Payment

We are looking for experienced, reliable people who take pride in completing their work properly and on schedule.

Payment is made every Saturday morning after we receive your invoice.
