Martha's Table is located at Martha Cove Marina, on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, close to Safety Beach. This prestigious venue incorporates a state of the art Restaurant, Bar, Café and Wine Cellar.

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and creative Breakfast / Cafe Chef or Cook to join the kitchen team. In this position, you will oversee our Breakfast and Café operation.

Day Shifts Only, Hours are approximately 7:00am - 4:00pm, Wednesday to Sunday.

Breakfast services are Saturday and Sunday (weekends only), with the Café being open 7 days.

You will be working directly with our Head Chef and supporting the talented culinary team for the organization and execution of the kitchen's day-to-day operations.

For this newly created position, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

• Produce Breakfast , Lunch dishes as per the menu in place

• Monitor the quality of the product served, ensuring that high standards are maintained

• Assist in planning, preparing the menu

• Effective management and communication with a diverse team

• Genuine interest in the day-to-day operations of the business

• Fast with excellent time management during preparation and service periods

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience as a Breakfast Chef in a high-volume cafe

• You are highly organized and able to work under pressure

• Proven experience working in kitchens through fast-paced service periods

• You can organise effectively, solve problems on the run and communicate clearly

• You bring a positive approach to your work a have a calm and composed demeanor

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and public holidays
