About the role

As a senior florist, you'll be involved in all areas of the store. This is a casual position, with hours varying depending on the needs of the business, weddings, events and seasonal periods.

Key responsibilities

• Creating beautiful bouquets, arrangements and custom floral orders
• Conditioning, processing and caring for fresh flowers
• Preparing flowers for weddings, events, corporate and funerals
• Assisting with wedding and event preparation and installations
• Providing confident, friendly customer service in-store and over the phone
• Taking customer orders and helping customers choose the right flowers and gifts
• Completing deliveries in our company van
• Merchandising and maintaining our flower and gift displays
• Working efficiently during busy periods including Mother's Day, Valentines Day, Christmas and wedding season

About you

• Previous experience working as a florist is a must
• Valid driver's licence required
• Reliable, creative, hardworking and proud of the work they produce
• Confident working independently
