About Us

Just Better Care is one of Australia’s leading providers of in-home aged care and disability support services. Just Better Care Central Coast has proudly supported the local community for over 20 years and is a locally family-owned and operated business based in Gosford.

We are an NDIS registered provider with strong compliance systems, experienced operational support, and an established reputation across the Central Coast and Lake Macquarie regions.

With the NDIS environment continuing to evolve and increasing focus on provider registration and compliance, we are seeking an experienced Support Coordinator who is looking to transition from operating independently into a secure and supportive registered provider environment — while continuing to support their existing participants.

This role is designed for experienced independent Support Coordinators who want to retain their participant relationships while gaining the security, compliance framework and operational support of working within an established NDIS registered provide

About the Opportunity

This opportunity is ideal for an established independent Support Coordinator who already manages their own participant caseload and is looking for:

  • The backing of an NDIS registered provider

  • Strong compliance and operational support

  • Administration assistance

  • Stability and long-term growth

  • A collaborative team environment

  • Reduced administrative burden while maintaining participant relationships

  • Hybrid - Work From Home/Gosford Office

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to bring across their current participant base and continue supporting them under the Just Better Care Central Coast framework.

In addition to Support Coordination, the role will also include:

  • Preparing NDIS service agreements

  • Managing participant budgets and utilisation tracking

  • Assisting with onboarding and participant documentation

  • Liaising with plan managers, nominees and service providers

  • Working closely with our NDIS and Service Coordination teams

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality Support Coordination services to participants

  • Maintain and grow participant relationships

  • Assist participants to understand and implement their NDIS plans

  • Coordinate supports aligned with participant goals

  • Prepare service agreements and participant documentation

  • Monitor budgets and funding utilisation

  • Maintain accurate progress notes and records

  • Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and company policies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience as an NDIS Support Coordinator

  • An existing participant caseload/client base

  • Strong understanding of NDIS compliance and participant funding

  • Experience preparing service agreements and managing budgets

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Strong organisational and administration skills

  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team

  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and driver licence

Employment Stability & Benefits

By joining Just Better Care Central Coast, you gain the stability of working as an employed Support Coordinator rather than operating independently. As an employee, you will have:

  • Superannuation contributions paid regularly

  • Paid Leave Entitlements

  • Workers’ compensation and professional insurance coverage

  • Guaranteed administrative and operational support

  • Reduced financial and compliance risk compared to running your own independent business

  • Peace of mind focusing on your participants and their goals, rather than managing independent business obligations

  • Hybrid - Work From Home/Gosford Office

This provides long-term security and allows you to concentrate on delivering quality support to your participants while enjoying the protections and benefits of employment.

What We Offer

  • Part-time position with flexible working arrangements

  • Work hours to be discussed and tailored based on participant caseload

  • Strong operational and compliance support

  • Experienced local office team based in Gosford

  • Established systems and processes

  • Career growth opportunities within a growing organisation

  • Locally family-owned and operated business

  • Supportive and collaborative culture

  • Salary package to be negotiated based on participant caseload, billed hours and experience
