About the role

• Responsible for manufacturing custom mechanical components using a wide array of production techniques including CNC and manual machining.
• Working with ferrous and non-ferrous materials to meet quality standards and design specifications.
• Developing, refining, and maintaining scientific equipment.

About you

• Certificate IV in Engineering (or equivalent certified trade or competency base qualification and substantial post-apprenticeship experience).
• Knowledge and previous experience in CNC machine programming, set up and operation.
• Expertise in operating medium-capacity equipment ensuring efficient, safety and precise machining processes.
• Level of experience in 3D CAD modelling and integrated CAM software.
• Ideally you will have knowledge in the use of additive manufacturing technology and equipment along with basic experience in metal fabrication processes.

Benefits

• $49-$62 per hour (depending on experience).
• Full-time, 9-month Temporary opportunity.
• 9-day fortnight, enjoy a long weekend each fortnight.
