We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team. In this
role, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
and hygiene in our Residential Care Facilities in Ainslie (Low Head,
George Town), ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for our
residents and staff.

The Opportunity

We currently have casual positions available
for cleaners. The role is responsible for conducting a broad range of cleaning
activities under the general direction of the Facility Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure
  a safe work environment by adopting safe work practices.
• Maintain
  good working relationships with staff, residents and families.
• Work
  within the mission statement and philosophy of Southern Cross Care
  (Tasmania) Inc. to achieve the highest possible standard of care for
  residents.
• Always
  maintain and respect employee, consumer and organisational
  confidentiality.
• Actively
  participate in meetings and discussions in a constructive manner.
• Communicate
  with consumers and colleagues in a kind and caring manner, taking into
  account individual cultural and religious preferences.
• Work
  as part of a busy team and be supportive of other team members.
• Prioritise
  workload and use care resources effectively and efficiently.
• Adhere
  to legislation pertaining to privacy and confidentiality and handling of
  personal information.

Essential

• Time
  management and organisational skills to perform at the required standard.
• Good
  physical health.
• Ability
  to work in a diverse team.
• Previous
  experience in general cleaning.
• Satisfactory
  national police check within the last three months or the ability to
  obtain one.
• Tasmanian
  Working with Vulnerable People registration with NDIS endorsement or the
  ability to obtain.
• Satisfactory
  evidence of working rights in Australia.
