We are looking for friendly, confident and enthusiastic people to come and have fun with our Under 6s, while helping them develop their fine and gross motor skills in a structured, supportive environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and is looking to pick up a few casual hours each week.

About the role

• Working with children aged under 6 years
• Leading and assisting in structured classes (programs provided)
• Supporting children’s movement, coordination and confidence
• Classes run year-round and do not break for school holidays, except December/January.
• This is a physical, hands-on role where you will be on your feet leading classes
• Some light cleaning and tidying duties may be required as part of the role

Hours

• Casual role with 2-hour shifts
• Hours are mostly between 12:45pm – 3:15pm
• Some morning shifts may be available 9:00am – 11:30am on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, depending on classes.

Training

• Full training provided
• Regular ongoing hours
• Prior experience is helpful but not required

About you

You may be a great fit if you have:

• Experience in childcare, teaching, or working with young children, or
• Gymnastics experience or basic movement knowledge, or
• Availability for a few casual hours per day or per week

Requirements

• NSW Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

Pay

• Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications under the Fitness Industry Award.
