Mill Operator (Afternoon Shift) | $46.72/hr | Toowoomba – Harristown

Fuse Recruitment is partnering with a large, nationally recognised manufacturer within the animal nutrition and feed production sector to recruit an experienced Mill Operator for an ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity based in Harristown, Toowoomba.
This is a hands-on production and warehouse role, including forklift operation.

What’s on Offer

• Afternoon shift rate (with allowance): $46.72 per hour
• Temp-to-perm opportunity (medical required prior to permanency)
• 40 hours per week + overtime as required
• Stable afternoon shift hours
• On-site role based in Harristown, Toowoomba

Shift

• Monday – Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 2:00pm (day shift $40.63)

Key Responsibilities

• Operating mill production equipment, including mixers and bagging lines
• Monitoring product quality and maintaining production output
• General warehousing and housekeeping duties
• Operating a counterbalance forklift for material movement
• Manual handling up to 20kg (semi-regular)
• Maintaining safety standards within a dusty manufacturing environment

About You

• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift
• Previous experience in manufacturing, feed mill, grain handling, or production environments (highly regarded)
• Comfortable working in dusty conditions (respiratory protection required in some areas)
• Able to complete manual handling tasks up to 20kg
• Clean shaven / able to wear fitted respiratory protection
• Strong reliability, safety awareness, and willingness to learn plant machinery
