ABOUT THE ROLE
South Gippsland Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified and dedicated new member for Council’s Audit and Risk Committee as an Independent Member.
The Audit and Risk Committee comprise of up to five members who are appointed by Council. This includes two Councillors and three Independent Members. The Committee meet at least four times per year which is anticipated to occur in March, June, September and December each year.
The term of appointment will be for an initial three-year term from the date of appointment, with a second and final consecutive three-year term available at the discretion of Council.

ABOUT YOU
Applicants will have several years of experience at a senior level in one or several of the following disciplines or areas:
- Public Sector, Legal or Business Management;
- Fraud Prevention and Control;
- IT Strategy, Data Management and IT Security;
- Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery;
- Corporate Governance;
- Risk Management; and
- Financial Management and Audit.
