We’re seeking dedicated staff to join our team for casual shifts all across Sydney.
Position: Casual Youth Residential Worker
Location: Gold Coast, Tweed Heads & flexibility to travel in surrounding areas
Employment Type: Casual

Role and Responsibilities: As a Casual Youth Residential Worker, you will have a pivotal role in supporting young residents with their daily activities and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting youth with daily living tasks, including personal care and hygiene.

Providing emotional support and building positive relationships with residents.

Facilitating recreational and educational activities to promote growth and development.

Supporting the youth in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.

Ensuring a safe and nurturing living environment.

Maintaining accurate records and documentation of residents' progress and well-being.

Engaging with Young People using trauma informed responses
Requirements:

Willingness to work block shifts in regional NSW (e.g., several days at a time).

Diploma in Youth Work or relevant qualifications and relevant experience.

A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including Sleepovers, weekends, and holidays.

Previous experience/qualification working with youth and a desire to nurture youth to the best of your abilityÂ

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass a background check and obtain relevant clearances.
