We’re seeking dedicated staff to join our team for casual shifts all across Sydney.

Position: Casual Youth Residential Worker
Location: Gold Coast, Tweed Heads & flexibility to travel in surrounding areas
Employment Type: Casual

About Us: We are a Youth Support agency providing residential care services for youth, dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive, and positive environment for young people. Our mission is to help youth achieve their full potential through compassionate care and guidance.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Casual Youth Residential Worker, you will have a pivotal role in supporting young residents with their daily activities and personal development. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting youth with daily living tasks, including personal care and hygiene.

  • Providing emotional support and building positive relationships with residents.

  • Facilitating recreational and educational activities to promote growth and development.

  • Supporting the youth in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.

  • Ensuring a safe and nurturing living environment.

  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of residents' progress and well-being.

  • Engaging with Young People using trauma informed responses

Requirements:

  • Willingness to work block shifts in regional NSW (e.g., several days at a time).

  • Diploma in Youth Work or relevant qualifications and relevant experience.

  • A caring, patient, and empathetic attitude.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including Sleepovers, weekends, and holidays.

  • Previous experience/qualification working with youth and a desire to nurture youth to the best of your ability 

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain relevant clearances.
