Yass Valley Council is seeking an enthusiastic, community-minded professional to join our front-line Customer Service team. As the first point of contact for our community, you will play a vital role in enabling connection with essential council services, resolving inquiries, and delivering exceptional service every day. Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist residents via phone, email, and face-to-face counter enquiries.
  • Resolve requests regarding rates, waste, planning, and community facilities.
  • Process payments and manage accurate data entry into council systems.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to solve complex community issues.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in a retail, hospitality, or corporate customer service role.
  • Excellent communication skills with a calm, empathetic, and professional approach.
  • Strong tech skills with the ability to learn new software quickly and implement improvements.
