The National Sales Manager – Petfood Ingredients leads and grows Inghams' petfood ingredients sales across Australia. Reporting to the General Manager – Ingredients, this is a commercially driven national role based at Inghams Primary Processing Site, Somerville
The role is central to maximising the commercial value of Inghams' petfood ingredients stream — building long-term customer partnerships, converting new business opportunities, and working across supply chain and operations to deliver against commitments in a fast-growing category.
Responsibilities include
- Manage and grow the domestic petfood ingredients portfolio, serving as the primary commercial relationship owner.
- Develop business cases for new channel, category, or export market opportunities, presenting recommendations to the GM and relevant stakeholders.
- Own the petfood ingredient sales P&L, delivering against budgeted revenue, gross margin, and volume targets.
- Contribute to Inghams' petfood ingredients commercial strategy, providing market insight and growth recommendations.
You will bring to this role
- Proven sales experience that drives results.
- Demonstrated industry experience, ideally within the meat or pet food sector.
- The ability to build trusted, lasting relationships across both customer and internal stakeholder groups
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable solutions.
- Experience contributing to or enhancing sales strategy in a commercially focused environment
