About the role

Join the team at Gateway Automotive Group as a Service Advisor. This is a full-time role based in Fairy Meadow. As a Service Advisor, you will play a key part in ensuring our customers receive an exceptional experience when visiting our automotive service centre. Your role will involve providing expert advice, managing customer expectations, and coordinating the efficient delivery of vehicle servicing and repairs.

What you'll be doing

1. Greet and assist customers, providing clear communication on service requirements and estimated completion times

2. Liaise with our team of mechanics to coordinate vehicle servicing and repairs

3. Provide customers with thorough explanations of required work and associated costs

4. Process customer payments and maintain detailed service records

5. Foster positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business

6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and responsive manner

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing automotive role

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service

3. Technical knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes

4. Strong time management and multitasking abilities to coordinate multiple customer requests

5. A positive, friendly and solutions-focused attitude
