About the Opportunity
As the Home Services Manager – Home Care & Community, you’ll play a key operational leadership role across your region, supporting Home Service Team Leaders and a dedicated workforce delivering essential in‑home services to older South Australians.
You’ll lead the delivery of safe, responsive and inclusive care by strengthening team connection, driving continuous improvement and ensuring workforce capacity meets client needs.
With a strong focus on client experience, community connection and sustainable service delivery, you’ll help ensure ECH continues to provide meaningful, neighbourhood‑based care aligned to our values and purpose.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and mentor staff to build strong, connected and high‑performing teams.
- Drive quality care and continuous improvement in line with the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Support workforce capability through effective induction, ongoing training and development.
- Use workforce data and client demand patterns to guide staffing, resource allocation and service responsiveness.
About You
You’re a people‑focused leader with experience in health, aged care, disability or similar environments, bringing strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting.
You build collaborative, connected teams and apply sound judgement to navigate complex care situations and ensure safe, person‑centred outcomes.
Digitally confident and an effective communicator, you use technology and clear communication to support workforce planning and high‑quality service delivery.
Essential
- Ability to obtain and maintain all required aged care and home care sector clearances
- Up‑to‑date vaccinations as required by ATAGI and relevant policies
- Intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office suite
- Driver’s licence
Desirable
- Certificate or degree in a health‑related discipline
