HHDS is a registered NDIS provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support services across the Hills community. We take pride in helping participants live comfortably, safely and independently in their homes. We are seeking several reliable and detail-oriented Residential House Cleaners to join our dedicated team. All equipment and products supplied (low impact chemicals).

About the Role

As a Residential House Cleaner, you will provide essential cleaning support to NDIS participants living in private homes or supported accommodation homes. You will help maintain a safe, hygienic and welcoming environment while upholding the dignity, comfort and individual preferences of each participant.

Key Responsibilities

• General household cleaning including bathrooms, kitchens, floors and living areas

• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and surface sanitisation

• Laundry, bed making and basic household organising

• Maintaining cleaning records and ensuring tasks align with participants’ NDIS plans

• Following infection-control procedures and safety guidelines

• Communicating respectfully and professionally with participants, families and staff

• Reporting any concerns or changes in the home environment

About You

You are a proactive, trustworthy and compassionate individual who enjoys supporting people to live comfortably at home. You work well independently and in teams, manage time effectively and maintain a high standard.

You will bring:

• Experience in residential or commercial cleaning

• Understand NDIS principles (free online training available)

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to follow task schedules

• Reliable, punctual

• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle

Required Checks

• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)

• Proof of Australian working rights
