We’re currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our maintenance team in the Barossa Valley. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems, equipment and machinery across multiple Tarac sites, helping ensure our operations run safely and efficiently.

About the Role
You’ll help maintain the mechanical integrity of our plant and equipment through inspections, performance checks, repairs and upgrades. The role also includes entering maintenance feedback, managing stock levels and assisting with new equipment or installations.
Key Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance on electrical systems, plant and machinery

Maintain lighting across warehouses, offices and operational sites

Respond to breakdowns and repair or replace faulty electrical components

Inspect plant, machinery and automated systems to identify issues early

Assist with electrical panel building and project work

Support commissioning and troubleshooting of new equipment or installations

Maintain maintenance records and provide feedback on completed works

Manage stock levels and order electrical spare parts as required

Work collaboratively with mechanical, production and engineering teams

Provide on-call support outside standard hours as required to support operational needs
What You’ll Bring

A current A Class Electrical Licence
-
Minimum 5 years’ experience as an industrial electrician

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings

Experience working with industrial electrical systems and equipment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Elevated Work Platform ticket
-
Control circuit understanding and design (essential)

Experience working in hazardous areas (flammable liquids), along with relevant training, will be highly regarded.

PLC experience will be highly regarded
