Cubby House for Kids is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Child Care Worker to join our team in Townsend, NSW.

What we’re looking for:
- A Cert 3 or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Experience in early childhood education
- Flexibility to work any days and times as required
- A nurturing, reliable educator with a genuine passion for working with children
- A team player who fosters respectful, supportive relationships with families, children, and colleagues
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid, CPR, and Anaphylaxis Training (support provided for renewal or completion)
- Child Protection Training (can be arranged by the service)
Tasks:
· Supervise and care for children in a safe, supportive, and nurturing
· environment
· Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities to support
· children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
· Assist in the preparation and delivery of educational programs in line
with approved learning frameworks (e.g. EYLF)
· Observe children’s behaviour and development, and contribute to
documentation and progress records
· Encourage positive behaviour and model appropriate social interactions
· Support children in daily routines, including meals, toileting, rest, and
personal hygiene
· Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe environment, including equipment
and play areas
· Administer basic first aid when required and respond to emergencies
according to procedures
· Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues regarding
children’s wellbeing and development
· Assist with settling new children and supporting transitions
· Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and regulations
(e.g. child safety, health and safety standards)
· Identify and report any concerns regarding child wellbeing, development,
or safety
· Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain a positive workplace
· culture
· Participate in ongoing training and professional development
