The opportunity
Join our team at various locations across the ACT as a General Service Officer. As a valued member of the team, you will support the hospitality purpose of the home. Working across areas within the cleaning, catering and laundry services, you will be engaged with our residents to provide a warm homely experience, bringing a smile to their day.

The Requirements
Essential
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in cleaning and/or laundry services
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in delivering high levels of exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated empathy with and commitment to the care of older people
- Ability to connect with and help others
- An understanding of Work Health and Safety issues
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and find the ‘yes’
- Proficiency in using technology, devices and software
Desirable
- Current senior first aid certificate
- Knowledge and understanding of Aged Care and/or related services
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplined team
