Position: Wall and Floor Tiler (2 positions available)

Location: The business operates out of Benowa, with worksites across the Gold Coast region.

Employment basis: Two full-time positions.

Amani Tiling Contractors Pty Ltd is a QBCC-licensed and fully insured operator specialising in boutique, high-quality wall and floor tiling work. The company positions itself as focused on small-to-medium scale projects rather than high-volume contracts, on the basis that this reduces exposure to the cash-flow and cascading-failure risks associated with large-scale principal contracting arrangements and instead supports consistent quality and reliability for clients.

The company is seeking an experienced tiler with a demonstrated history across varied wall and floor tiling projects, capable of adjusting to differing job specifications as required. Consistent with its stated business model, the company engages tilers on a full-time, exclusive basis to maintain workmanship standards.

Key duties

• Preparing surfaces (cleaning, levelling, applying adhesive)

• Cutting and laying tiles in accordance with design specifications

• Grouting and sealing for durability and finish

• Repair and replacement of damaged tiling

• Working across residential, commercial, and boutique-style projects

• Overseeing and quality-checking work carried out by independent contractors engaged by the company

• Meeting project deadlines and workmanship benchmarks

Selection criteria

• Relevant trade certification

• Demonstrated experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler with a varied project portfolio

• Capacity to work across residential, commercial, and boutique project types

• Attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Ability to read and apply technical drawings and plans

• Physical capacity for the demands of the role

• Sound communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to meet varying project requirements
