About the Role
The Digital Literacy, Design, and Technology Supervisor provides leadership, training, and mentorship to participants, that enhance employability and career prospects. This role integrates hands-on instruction in relevant technologies, including 3D printing, laser engraving, and design software, supporting participants’ skills development. Combining program development with practical supervision, the supervisor fosters a dynamic and supportive learning environment that meets
the diverse needs of participants.
What You Will Do
You will supervise and mentor participants in a supportive and engaging learning environment, helping them develop practical digital literacy, design and technology skills that enhance their employability. Working closely with participants, you will deliver hands-on learning activities using technologies such as design software and other digital tools. You will support participants to build
confidence in digital communication, problem-solving and workplace skills while contributing to projects that are meaningful and aligned to community and labour market needs. The role also involves maintaining participant records and reports, promoting workplace health and safety, supporting community engagement activities, and building positive relationships with participants, stakeholders and local businesses.
We Are Looking for Someone Who Has
- Relevant qualifications or experience in education, employment services, design, technology or a related field.
- Experience delivering training, mentoring, education or vocational learning programs.
- Strong digital literacy skills, including experience with design software and technology-based equipment.
- The ability to engage, motivate and mentor people from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Strong communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience maintaining accurate records and using Microsoft Office and other digital systems.
- A commitment to creating safe, inclusive and culturally respectful learning environments.
- A current Driver's Licence and the ability to travel within the service region.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance and Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card).
