Dairy Supervisor

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader to oversee our Dairy Department at our Kuranda IGA store.  This role is a part-time position.  You will be responsible for the overall management of a department of a busy supermarket. Your role will be tasked with ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved through friendly service, excellent presentation, and efficiency.  You may be required to work a rotational roster which may include weekends and public holidays your leadership.

Criteria

1. High level of personal integrity and accountability for performance

2. Dairy, perishables or fresh food experience preferable;

3. Demonstrated ability to follow company policies and procedures;

4. Intermediate level of computer skills;

5. Basic understanding of WH&S and food safety requirements

6. Customer service experience;

7. Able to communicate clearly and negotiate with people

8. High level of literacy and numeracy skills

9. Ability to deal with customer complaints to bring about a win/win result
