The Opportunity

ISS is seeking an experienced DIDO (Drive-In/ Drive-Out) Mine Site Cleaning Supervisor to lead cleaning operations at our remote mining villages in Central QLD. This opportunity is on a 14 days on/7 days off roster, giving you a great work life balance. 

• Lead and motivate a team of mine site cleaners to deliver consistent, high-quality results.
• Create efficient cleaning schedules and allocate tasks to meet site requirements.
• Inspire a culture of safety and teamwork that delivers spotless, reliable facilities every single day
• Monitor cleaning standards and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance.
• Manage stock control for cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Work closely with the Site Manager and other departments to support smooth daily operations.
• Train, mentor, and develop team members to help them succeed in their roles.

To be considered, you need:

• Proven experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar role in a mining, industrial, or remote site environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Good understanding of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and safety requirements.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• DIDO experience or willingness to work a 14/7 roster.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screen
• To have a national police clearance within 12 months old
• Holds an existing Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Certificate - highly desirable.
