About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Assembler to join our South Windsor team.
This is a varied, hands-on manufacturing role combining assembly work with saw operation responsibilities and support to Dispatch during busy periods. The role isfast-paced and physical, involving small powered hand tools, material handling, and teamwork to meet daily production targets.
You will primarily assemble Dalekit Roof Systems and related products, operate saw equipment when required, and assist Dispatch with packing, wrapping, labelling, and preparing products for delivery.
All employees are expected to comply with WH&S legislation and company safety policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly

Follow job sheet instructions accurately

Assemble awnings and roof system components to specification
-
Ensure quality standards and production deadlines are met
-
Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment
-
Perform occasional heavy lifting
-
Assist with other general Assembly duties as requested
Saw Operation (as required)
-
Operate aluminium upcut and steel saws to cut tubes, extensions, and extrusions
-
Use computer-based saw systems where applicable
-
Inspect materials for damage prior to cutting
-
Arrange cutting sequences for optimal material usage
-
Carry and manoeuvre full-length extrusions safely
-
Maintain saw equipment and report irregularities or malfunctions
-
Conduct quality checks throughout the production process

Maintain stock levels within Assembly
Dispatch and Factory Support (as required)

Wrap completed awnings and products securely to protect during transport
-
Label wrapped products correctly for delivery identification
-
Place items on the correct delivery-day racks
-
Assist with preloading vehicles following safety guidelines
-
Execute freight preparation including wrapping, tubing, bubble wrapping, marking, and palletising

Maintain a safe, clean, and organised workspace
-
Assist other factory areas when required
About You
-
Experience in manufacturing, assembly, factory hand, or similar role preferred
-
Competent using hand tools such as drills and rivet guns
-
Experience operating saws or machinery (or willingness to learn)

Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and material calculations

Strong attention to detail and quality focus

Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious
-
Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English

Able to work both autonomously and in a small team
-
Good physical strength and stamina (ability to lift heavy items/products)

Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one

Must have valid Australian work rights
