Join the Northern Territory Government and lead a high-performing team supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects across the Northern Region.
The Department of Logistics and Infrastructure works with the community, business and government partners to regulate, construct, maintain and invest in integrated sustainable infrastructure, developments and services across the Territory.
The RoleAs Assistant Manager Project and Contract Administration, you’ll lead the Northern Region’s project and contract administration teams, ensuring efficient service delivery across all phases of the infrastructure program. You’ll manage team performance, oversee contract and project records, and drive improvements in processes and compliance.
Based in Katherine, you’ll work closely with project personnel, contractors, and senior management, contributing to reporting, audits, and strategic planning. Regular regional travel is part of the role, supporting infrastructure delivery across diverse communities.
About youProven leadership experience managing teams and driving performanceStrong background in project and contract administration within an infrastructure, construction or similar environmentSound knowledge of procurement, contract administration, reporting and financial processesSkilled in stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and data analysisProficient in project management or similar systems and Microsoft Office
