What you'll be doing 
As the Administration Officer, you will provide high‑level administrative and secretarial support to the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Staff Specialists across both hospital and consulting room operations. Working across the Women’s Health consulting rooms and O&G support unit, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth service delivery, accurate patient management and effective coordination for clinical staff.

In this role you will:

  • Lead and coordinate administrative operations for Women’s Health consulting rooms

  • Deliver frontline customer service, managing patient enquiries and appointment scheduling

  • Maintain patient files, prepare correspondence and support medical officers with transcription

  • Manage theatre lists, billing, invoicing and stock ordering through Oracle

  • Coordinate calendars, rosters (HealthRoster), emails and reporting to support efficient workflows

  • Excellent customer service skills with experience in a health related clerical position

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including an ability to liaise with a range of health professionals

  • Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology

  • IT competent including the use of Microsoft Office applications
