About the role

We're seeking a highly skilled Vacuum/Hydrovac Truck Operator to join our team at City Country Coastal Hydro Excavation in Goulburn, NSW. As a full-time position, you will play a vital role in our construction operations, operating specialised vacuum and hydrovac trucks to safely and efficiently execute a range of excavation and utility services across the region.

What you'll be doing

1. Operating vacuum and hydrovac trucks to safely and effectively locate, expose and excavate utilities and other underground infrastructure

2. Ensuring all works are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and client specifications

3. Performing routine maintenance and inspections on assigned vehicles and equipment

4. Maintaining detailed records of all work undertaken

5. Collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-quality excavation services

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Vacuum/Hydrovac Truck Operator, preferably within the construction industry

2. Comprehensive understanding of safe work practices and ability to operate specialised equipment in a safe and responsible manner

3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to navigate complex work environments

4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently

6. Current Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence and relevant plant operation certifications
