Blooms The Chemist Glenorchy is looking for a friendly, confident pharmacist to join our team every Monday from 8:30am–6:00pm.

This role would suit a pharmacist looking for a consistent additional day each week in a busy, supportive community pharmacy where you can build genuine relationships with patients and feel part of the team.

About the role

Your Monday will include:

• Dispensing and checking prescriptions
• Providing medication advice and counselling
• Supporting our dispensary technicians and pharmacy team
• Vaccinations and professional services where trained
• Assisting patients with everyday health concerns
• Maintaining a safe, efficient and welcoming dispensary
• Building relationships with our regular patients

We are not looking for someone who simply wants to stand behind the dispensary bench.

We would love someone who enjoys talking to people, contributes to the team and takes pride in providing excellent patient care.

You will suit our team if you:

• Hold current AHPRA pharmacist registration
• Are available every Monday from 8:30am–6:00pm
• Are confident working in a busy community pharmacy
• Have strong communication and patient-care skills
• Enjoy working collaboratively with pharmacists, dispensary technicians and pharmacy assistants
• Are reliable, approachable and comfortable taking ownership of your role
• Are vaccination accredited, or willing to become accredited
• Enjoy being part of something rather than simply filling a rostered shift

Experience with Dispense Works is helpful but not essential, as training can be provided.
