Casual Cook / Fryer – Afternoon Shifts (From 3pm)

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Cook / Fryer to join our young, enthusiastic team at our beachside fish & chip shop. This is not your average fish and chip shop – we focus on quality seafood, proper technique, and consistently great food.

Shift details:

• Casual position

• Minimum 4-hour shifts

• Afternoon/evening starts from 3pm

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience working in a kitchen

• Strong frying experience (essential)

• Confident with free-floating fish and maintaining consistent batter

• Knowledge of oil management and cleaning/maintaining fryers

• Ability to work fast, clean, and under pressure

• Pride in quality, consistency, and presentation

• Reliable and team-focused

Your responsibilities:

Cooking and frying seafood to our standards

Managing fryer temps, oil quality, and cleanliness

Free-floating fish correctly

Keeping a clean and organised workstation

Supporting the team during busy service
