The Exchange Hotel located in Toogoolawah is seeking for a motivated, qualified Chef. Responsibilities

• Responsible in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food items within the kitchen
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and presentation of the kitchen
• Responsible in the requisition, storage, control and ordering of stock
• Care and maintenance of equipment
• Menu planning and pricing
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety practices
• Responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen
• Practising proper workplace health and safety procedures
• Other incidental and peripheral duties as requested by the Employer
• Responsible for cost control and expenditure in the kitchen area within set budget guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef
• Relevant trade qualifications in culinary/cookery
• Excellent cookery skills & a passion to excel in this industry

Salary package - $76515 plus superannuation
