- Fishing across the full fleet of Abrolhos Octopus vessels based in Greenhead, Dongara and Geraldton as required by management

- Pulling octopus pots on fishing days

- Prepping and cleaning catch

- Fixing and maintaining octopus pots while at sea including making ready for setting the pots once pulled

- Setting the octopus pots as per instruction by the skipper

- Cleaning and maintaining of the fishing vessel deck, and vessel where applicable as directed by the skipper

- Prepping and maintaining of fishing ropes including but not limited to knot tying and rope splicing

- Assisting the skipper with delivery of catch at the end of the fishing day to the processing factory or transport vehicle as required

- Building of octopus pots, compiling of fishing ropes as required

- Follow any reasonable instructions given by the Master of the fishing vessels in relation to the core function of catching of octopus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
