About the Role:

We are seeking Leisure and Lifestyle Officer to join our team on a Part-Time basis!

You will be based at Abbey House, located at 300 Range Rd, Mittagong NSW 2575.

Shift Times: 9:30am - 5:30pm

Abbey House is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Leisure and Lifestyle Officer. We're looking for enthusiastic candidates who has a positive attitude and have a passion for working with aged people. This is a great opportunity to work for a leading aged care provider that offers a rewarding career and supportive environment.

To be successful, we're looking for someone:

• Police Check (Essential)

• NDISWC (Essential)

• First Aid Certificate (Desirable)

• Have a Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure, or Health and Recreation (desirable)

• Previous experience as a Recreational Activities Officer or a Lifestyle Officer in aged care (desirable)

• Energetic and strives for excellence in customer service

• Have effective communication and computer documentation skills

• Have passion and genuine care for elderly

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care and support that meets residents’ needs and promotes wellbeing

• Accurately document care activities, monitor health, and communicate changes or feedback to clinical staff

• Engage residents and support participation in meaningful one-to-one and group activities

• Assist with the delivery of care-related engagement activities, including outings
