Waste Operator

The Package: $1,231.78 - $1,361.07 gross per week + 11.5% super. (Evaluated as Grade 6 of the QPRC Salary System 2024) and a guaranteed increase of 3% in 2025-26, plus potential performance-based progression.

Full time - 38 hours per week. 9-day fortnight conditions will apply.

In this role you will:

• Collect domestic waste from Queanbeyan-Palerang Street bins.
• Collect roadside street litter.
• Contribute to the culture of health and safety at Council.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in a similar role.
• Has the ability to operate and maintain waste plant.
• Can communicate well in oral and written form.
• Can be a part of a fast-paced team.
• Is ready to undertake early morning shifts.
