About the role
As a Senior Development Planner you will mentor other planners, provide support and guidance and work on complex projects in a fast paced environment.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Ability to assess development applicaitons at a high level with professional and technical advice into planning, development and land use matters to Planning Panels, staff, community and other relevant authorities:
- Assessing the impact of development proposals in relation to development issues and determine appropriate development requirements to ensure orderly development;
- Assessing, coordinating and managing complex development matters and special projects ensuring appropriate consultation and outcomes are achieved.

Other important information
- The commencing salary for this position is $99,822.03. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $119,987.18 on completion of assessment of skills and performance 11.5% superannuation and Leaseback.
- We have a permanent full-time
- This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight
- We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role - 2 days from home and 3 days onsite
- This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building
